So I’ve been slacking about updating this thing.  I’m going to try and be better about it.  We’ve been keeping busy lately.  We’ve had Matt’s b-day, our 3 year wedding anniversary, the George Strait concert, my cousin’s visit from Cali, and my other cousin’s wedding.

First, Matt’s b-day was pretty uneventful…We cooked taco’s at home and just hung out.  He didn’t want to do anything too big so we kept it VERY low key.  I’m grateful we did b/c we spent a TON of $$ at the George Strait concert that weekend.  George Strait was AMAZING!  He is my favorite so of course I would think that.  The stadium was nice but EXTREMELY overpriced.  We spent $40 just to park!!  The concession stand prices were outrageous as well… $8 a beer, $7.50 for a hot dog, $9 draft beer, $8.50 for a burger, $10 popcorn, $4 peanuts, $5 cotton candy just to name a few.  The HD screens were pretty cool and the picture was crystal clear.  It took them a while to get the sound adjusted so the first 3 artists LeeAnn Womack, Blake Shelton, and Reba McEntire didn’t sound as great as the could have, but they fixed the sound for George!  Looking back I probably wouldn’t have spent the amount of $ we did to go see him, but at least I can say I have now seen George Strait live.  Below are some pics from the concert:

We actually went to see George for our 3 year anniversary but we ended up buying a Wii for it as well.  I haven’t been able to play it too much but so far it is pretty fun and entertaining.   We had a huge storm on our actual anniversary that continued into the next day.  The storms were so bad they shut down DFW which prevented Michelle from coming into town on Thursday.  I was super upset but she flew in on Friday so at least we got some time together.  We had a blast in Austin and it was great to catch up.  The next day we went to Evie’s wedding.  She was a BEAUTIFUL bride and looked amazing!  The wedding was very sweet and the location was nice. Below are some pics from Michelle’s visit and the wedding:
